Spring Break: 宝博体育 Edition

When it comes to my spring break back home in the U.S., 我很少旅行，因为那是我唯一能在家乡度过的时间, and the only time all my old friends are in town. 我在假期里做了一些超级极端的事情，如果我要旅行，那也是在美国境内.S. Nothing too exciting.  

I was super excited to 宝博体育 during the spring semester, 其中一个原因是我知道我将有机会去一个完全不同的国家旅行. 也就是说，我对独自旅行感到紧张，因为即使当我到达时 伦敦, my parents came with me. But I had nothing to worry about! 春假是我一生中最独特的经历，让我来告诉你为什么. 

Exploring the City 

我和朋友萨德里、克拉丽莎决定去土耳其的伊斯坦布尔度春假! Like I previously explained, 我非常紧张，因为这是一件没有父母陪伴的极端的事情, and I had no idea what to expect.  

的 宝博体育 excursions are one thing that really stood out to me. 我们是在深夜到达Airbnb的，所以我们直到第二天才开始计划. On our first official day, 我们决定慢慢来，因为我们想在做任何疯狂的事情之前看看这个城市是什么样的. We went to this market called the Bazaar Market, and they sold souvenirs, 珠宝, 背包, and stuff like that. 这个市场很大，我们花了好几个小时才逛完. 街道的每一边都有小贩，总的来说，价格一点也不差.

我们做的另一件有趣的事情是，我们在晚上乘船游览了一圈水, and it came with dinner and a traditional dance. 食物很美味，船上的景色也很美. 我被传统舞蹈迷住了，因为这是我以前从未见过的, and their outfits were so pretty to look at.

有一天，我们决定制作一个传统的灯，放在城市的各个角落. 我们参加了一个课程，尽管装饰部分花了几个小时才完成，但它仍然很有趣. 的 lamps came out amazing, 我们非常喜欢它，最后我们在另一天回去做了另一个. 在课堂上，我们学习了灯的起源，以及灯上的设计意味着什么，这些都很有趣.

的 Best Food Ever 

而 东航卡帕 excursions were extremely entertaining, the 国外的食物 was the best thing I ever ate in my life. I didn’t have one bad meal here. Like I explained earlier, 我们在伊斯坦布尔吃的第一餐是土耳其早餐，让我告诉你, it was a lot of food. 我不知道该期待什么，但这不是摆在我们桌上的东西. 有面包、各种各样的果酱和奶酪、肉、鸡蛋、肉丸和橄榄. 的 portions were huge, so it filled everyone up. 

我们还尝试了巴基斯坦食物，我以前从来没有吃过，所以我真的很兴奋. We ordered buttered chicken, rice, and naan. 我知道我一直说这里的食物很棒，但真的很棒. I cannot emphasize that enough. 

Overall, I’d give the food a ten out of ten. 的 hospitality was amazing as well. We got tea after every meal and oddly enough, 那一周我在伊斯坦布尔喝的茶比我在伦敦留学期间喝的茶还多.

总之
