Program Director - Amsterdam

As the Program Director for Amsterdam, Frans van den Bliek is responsible for the day-to-day management of the onsite program experience, including student services, host institution relations, 本地供应商关系, 项目物流, 健康与安全, and program administration. Frans also advises students on issues related to academics, 住房, 文化适应, 健康, and navigating the city, and assists with university site visitors and custom programs. 

Frans brings several years of professional experience to CEA CAPA, including a wide-ranging background in the commercial education field. He was a Graduate Recruiter at his alma mater Webster University, focusing on master's programs in Europe, 非洲, 以及中东地区, and a Country Product Manager at the company 教育 First, 负责销售, 市场营销, 策略, and operations of EF language courses in the Dutch market.  

He holds a bachelor's degree in Commerce, with a concentration in Sports, 经济学, and 通信; an MSc in 市场营销 管理 from Tilburg University; and an MBA from Webster University.  

Born in a small Dutch town, Frans has lived in Amsterdam for ten years and loves hanging out in the city. When he’s not working, he enjoys spending time with his son, Tom, and traveling. He’s seen 47 countries in person and plans to visit more. He also likes to hike, cycle, and run.

Chiara is originally from 意大利 but grew up in the French side of Switzerland. Living in Amsterdam for over three years now, she fell in love with the Dutch capital and wishes to build her life there long term. Having always had a passion for learning about different cultures and traveling abroad, she did her first exchange year in Japan when she was 16. This was a pivotal moment in her life and made her the positive and sociable person she is today. 现在, she hopes to provide the same transformative experiences to the students of CEA CAPA so that they can then return home with a broader perspective on the world and themselves.
